The AI-Powered Assistant’s Mascot
In the world of AI-powered assistance, a strong visual identity can make technology feel more approachable and engaging. That’s where Gopher comes in—a friendly and intelligent mascot designed to represent Gopher Info’s AI assistant. Tasked with creating a character that embodies efficiency, reliability, and warmth, I developed an illustration that not only aligns with the brand’s mission but also resonates with technicians and service providers.
From concept sketches to final renderings, my goal was to craft a memorable, expressive character that helps bring Gopher Info’s innovative AI to life.
CHALLENGE & PROCESS
This project had a tight deadline, requiring quick execution while maintaining quality. My manager reached out to me, knowing my background in illustration, and provided the initial direction and objectives for the project, based on the company’s vision for their AI-powered assistant. With little time for exploration, I had to research gopher references and define an illustration style that aligned with the brand and the AI system. The challenge was to create a mascot that felt friendly, engaging, and approachable, making AI more relatable for technicians and service providers. Balancing simplicity with personality, I developed a design that was both expressive and versatile for various applications.

This stage focused on selecting the right color palette for Gopher Info, ensuring the character aligned with the brand while remaining visually engaging and approachable for the AI-powered assistant.
FINAL OUTCOME & IMPACT
I collaborated with the video team to bring Gopher to life in an introductory video for the AI-powered assistant, ensuring the animation captured the character’s personality and purpose. I provided all the necessary illustration assets, working closely with the animators to make sure each piece was designed for seamless movement and expression. This collaboration helped translate Gopher from a static illustration into a dynamic, engaging character for the video.
